Why Fight anymore

What is the reason for you to keep fighting?
the pain is goin to win everytime you know,
and your goin to feel worse for trying no?

Why are you fighting?
There is no reasonable explanation for you to be resisting the inevitable outcome.
There is no reasonable expectation for a "win" in this situation.
Maybe its your sense of self worth?
Maybe your ego?...(which by the way, is way overated in proportion to actual importance)
what you think you are worth and what you actually are are two entirely different points...
Is it the self worth, or self preservation of this impediment to your journey?

your not who you used to be
but your on your way to what you will be.
this painful journey can cost you everything you are, or who you could be,
or it could make you great and mighty

so what are the reasons for the fight?
surely not to become again what you already were?
to be at the very pinnacle /or not, of what you worked so hard to achieve to "be"

why not set a new goal to reach a new horizon,
to find a new paradigm
its just your body, not your mind or soul thats affected.

yes it hurts
no you cant do anything about it
but you can achieve, outside of physicality
outside of the past

who you are and what you become is purely an excersize of the will, acting on the prompt of the intellect, aided by the heart to do so.

The ego is mearly a manifestation of pride, which in too much proportion is trouble, as it is in too little pride.

measure who you are, what you are capable of and go forth.
find a reason for a fight, your life
