I was 18 the first time my back went out on me. I am 48 now and my last surgery was in 2004 .. for the last year ive beenbstruggling with horrendous pain in nerve of right leg and have been treated with med (15 mg of methidone) and another for breakthrough pain. My doctor has been on me to try shots again and if that doesnt work, have surgery again. My dads last surgery left him in a wheel chair. I am just so done with it all...physical therapy, shots, surgery. My films show the obvius problem, but srgeon says it could help back while not helping nerve pain which is dabilitating factor. Right now my pain stays atound a 4 or 5 and better if i spend time on heating pad. I can work and tolerate pain at this level. I want a new doctor who doesnt push this for right now.i live in tacoma seattle area. If anyone has a recomendation, id appreciate it. Thanks
