I had scs put in back in 2007 end of year.At first it worked great except it was a bit lower in stimulation than the trial period.I dealt with that because it did help my low back and leg pain. One yes, one month later leads shifted and revision was done with paddle leads. Still no relief was secured. They tried reprogramming dozens of times x dozens of times to no avail. Finally I just quit using it.My problem for the past 2 close to 3 years is numbness between shoulder blades where the incision was made.I also get severe pain when doing anything involving the arms, flooding clothes, washing dishes, etc....I keep having to put off the surgery to remove the scs, for one reason or another but soon should be done.I wonder if I will have permanent numbness in shoulder blades now along with pain? THe battery also hurts me a lot.It feels like maybe a wire is loose and I get jabbed every so often.Forget laying on my left hip side where the battery is,that really causes pain! I am glad everyone who has success and will continue too but please research everything before getting it done.
My Doc mentioned a morphine pump and I laughed...no way, no ore stuff in my body! Good luck to all with gentle hugs and if anyone else has numbness in shoulder blades, please let me know
