Well got my wires pulled out today after my five day trial , felt so good to take a hot shower! So sad that the trial didnt work for me I had high hopes that it would but maybe its just not for some. For me my pain broke through and when I tried to turn my programs up it caused my muscles to want to spasm . I cried when my doctor pulled the wires out because it should have been a happy time but it wasnt and I think he was sad to..But I asked him because it didnt work now does that mean that it will never work and he said no..so maybe in the future I can try again..I do feel like I have been let out of jail lol with all the wires and fanny pack and back wrap I feel cooler and more free but still have the sharp stabbing pain:(

  • Sorry things didn't work out. Hang in there.

Im not giving up it seems I spend all my time searching for something that works and each day that passes is one more day gone worrying and hurting :(
  • First, I haven't checked in with the forum for about a week or so - just due to issues with our business (we lost an employee and I am going thru the hiring process.) Second, I will still be happy to speak to you. I don't know your doc, certainly, nor do I know all your physical complications. But, we have a wonderful member named Pat who had a failed SCS and went to a pain pump that has worked for her very well. Honey, don't give up. There are members who have had to go thru several trials to get good placement of the electrodes.
  • anyone heard from Pat. I was having PM conversations with her and it just stopped. Have not seen her logged on since then either. Hoping nothing bad happened to her. Does anyone have a way to contact her and find out?
