Nail clipping

How soon after a lumbar fusion L4/5 can we bend enough to clip our toe nails....?
Forgot to ask Dr.... any suggestions besides having a pedicure??

  • Are you still wearing your brace? If so I would not recommend bending that much.

I would go for the pedi, or you could just let them grow? But then I'm a guy and don't care to have my toes painted :)

  • According to my wife and daughter, you can get a pedi without coloring your nails. In my case, I have a hammertoe that partially digs into the adjacent toe. Hence, I do need to trim my toenails. Otherwise that one nail will eventually gouge that other toe. Still, I prefer to do my own nails. I don't have the ***** to go to the nail salon.
