Hello my name is Anthony and I am 20 years old

I had surgery on August 2nd, 2012

I am doing so much better. No more pain in legs or butt or anywhere.

I still have tingling in my legs.

But my concern is I still have numbness in my penis and right butt cheek.

I could care less of ever getting full feeling in my butt again but will I ever get full feeling in my penis.

Anyone have a similar injury and had numbness in genitals but did it recover?

Also I have a slight limp. I could live with it but its a little annoying. What should I do to fix it? What muscles could I strengthen to help improve it?

  • Anthony, hi. Great to hear that the sciatic pain is largely gone now and that nerves are regenerating. Regeneration can be a different type of pain I've found, very unpleasant.

Can't comment on the genital numbness. However, you foot drop (limp), I can comment. Is your limp from foot drop?
