I'm new!

Hello all! So happy I found you. 6 months ago today I had spinal fusion and Herrington rods put in. I HAD 2-50 degree curves but my surgeon straightened me right up. As of 3 days ago I am seeing a pain management team. Still not back to work and still feel like I'm sleeping with a two by four nailed to my spine but improving... Slowly. I look forward to spending a lot of time on here. Hope to gain hope for the near future as I'm sooo-oo tired of being patient.
Talk to u all soon.

  • I had two surgeries in June. It's a long road for sure.
33yo mom of two. My surgical history...preadolescence scoliosis, kyphosis, and a hot mess.... 5 spine surgeries and lots of items added I wasn't born with (titanium, peek, surgical steel). Guess cremation is out. TSA loves me.

Welcome here. There's lots of medical articles for you to read and get up to speed on the technical and jargon. Also lots of experiential's via the forum posts.

Suggest you become familiar with the search function, as it is a very good tool to locate and unlock the massive amount of info here.

    Take Care.
