Scheduled fusion L3

I Have a question, I already have a fusion L4 -S1, (Osteoarthritis), I am a cyclist, and still ran until August 2012. I race MTB and road races. My 3rd fusion is scheduled for 10 April 2013. I had my first fusion L5-s1 11 years ago, second fusion L4 6 years ago. The first fusion was done with screws, which are broken, this does not pose a problem, the bone has already fused.Bone was used for the second fusion. I live a very active live as a sportswoman, although I am in constant pain, I refuse to procrastinate!. I work out in the gym with a personal trainer, and swim 2 1/2 km every day. My question is, how long after my 6week rehab will I be able to start training for bike races again. I am currently training for a very big race in March, hence the scheduled date in April. I have huge discomfort and pain at the moment, I try to manage it as best I can.... stretching, stretching, stretching and exercise has been my saving grace thus far. Currently I find it very difficult to walk, I have put hiking on hold for the moment, my right thigh is numb and have a debilitating pain in my right leg. I do not want to complain about pain in this forum, but rather use it to gain more insight and ask for advice. A happy sunny day to all!
