How long off work after scs implant?

I had my trial near the end of november, I am still awaiting to even get a surgery date for the implant of the scs. I am running out of time before my boss has her baby and I cannot be off while she is. I'd like to ask all of you whom are working outside the home yet, how long were you off work after your spinal cord stimulator was implanted.

I'm an office worker and took two weeks off. I was still pretty sore when I went back. If you can take more time off, I would recommend it. If you can't, hopefully your office will accommodate some things. I went for a lot of little walks every thirty minutes and had a heating pad and ice packs to help with the discomfort through out the day. I'm living proof it can be done, just be prepared to be very uncomfortable for a couple of weeks.

You do what you have to do to pay the bills.
