Neurolumen

I read an article from the Readers Digest 2013. A woman created this device which contains LED lasers, and electrical stimulators which are worn on this valcro belt. It is meant to help with pain has anyone worn it? heard of it?

  • I had 2 free sessions . The first was without any results, the second session in which a different configuration of the pads were used resulted in an amazing reduction in pain, I would estimate a 70%reduction conservatively speaking. Others receiving treatment had similar results. One man who could barely walk because of pain was jogging around the room with tears of joy in his eyes after his treatment. Doesn't work for everybody, but does work.
  • I just did some research on it as I've never heard of this before. From what I've read and heard from testimonials, it does sound very promising in alleviating inflammation and pain. Unfortunately it is very costly.

    Take Care.
  • I am also interested in the Neurolumen, but cannot find any independent reviews. I do not have insurance so the machine is a bit spendy, but if it works it's worth it. Unfortunately they only give you a 15-day money back guarantee. I would hate to purchase it and realize after the 15-days that it isn't working as well as I had hoped. The story certainly sounds wonderful and all sounds above board, but...Possibly looking for doctors in the Arizona area that have the machine?? Anyone know of doctors or chiropractors using this device?

I've seen that it has been accepted through a few insurance companies ( I follow them Neurolumen on facebook). I can never find a price, I may be looking in all the wrong locations, but what is the price to purchase the unit?
  • i contacted the company this week and was offered a 30 day trial. The terms they emailed me included 2000 charge if I don't return the unit before 30 days.
    Boundless potential through function
  • Does it work on cervical spine pain issues? A friend posted a link to a story on this device on a local TV station's news. It's the first I've heard of it. I think they said it was $900. I'd love to hear if it's helped anyone or not.
  • I don't have spine issues but I do have terrible osteoarthritis in both knees. After trying just about everything except surgery I had become really discouraged. I heard about the neurolumen and did as much research as possible online. After contacting the company and receiving there printed materials I ordered my own machine. They pretty much range in $1000 area with shipping. They now have extended their return window to 3 weeks I believe.
. I haven't checked with my insurance yet to see if I can get any reimbursement since I'm still within the return window but I can't imagine returning it! There is a learning curve to using it but the company is incredibly helpful.
I'm certainly not doing handsprings. But after only using it for 8-9 days there has been a dramatic improvement. I had my first really pain free day yesterday. I know it doesn't work for everyone and I don't know how much more improvement I will see. I just wanted to share what I've experienced in hopes of someone else benefitting from this machine.
