microdiscoptomy anular disc bulge

hi every one ,im having a microdiscoptomy on tuesday scared stiff iv had radio waves inj ,and caudal epidural inj ,and a racz catheter inj in a space of seven wks last june , ive had 1 mri then and no mri since i see surgeon in sept but im suprised they havent done a further mri before surgery im still in pain and yes cant walk far ect ,has anyone else only had one mri a long wait and then had it done please advise ,and yes obviously i forgot when i went for my pre op to ask im scared also nerves got the better of me :(

    I had one MRI and one visit with a surgeon. I was told I should have surgery because I had lost a lot of strength on my left leg. It's scary I know.. take a deep breath!!!! I woke up way better than when I went in. Just remember though you still may have some nerve issues while recovering.
