I have noticed on my images from (MRI, CT scans, etc) that my current hardware has removed the curvature in my neck (C5-T1) and was wondering how many people have hardware spanning that many disc, and if so, have you lost the typical curvature in that portion of your spine? I am wondering because it seems that the amount of pressure placed on my T1 - T2 joint, and possibly my C4 - C5 disc is what is now causing my increases in pain, and could be remedied if I found a surgeon to remove the hardware and put in new hardware at the correct angle to maintain my original curvature in my spine, and yes I realize that they would also have to "break" my fusions in order to accomplish this. Maybe I am grasping at straws here, but I really do not want to have the nerves burned off in my neck every 4 months until the day I die, that and I will need another surgery within 5 years or so to repair the damage that is happening at T1 - T2 (according to my surgeon anyway), maybe have a disc replacement done at that level.
