Has any one heard of a new oxycodone 30mg that you can't crush. Supposedly their is a new kind of instant release oxycodone here in Alabama area. If anyone has seen or.heard of these please respond.

I think you may be confusing Oxycontin with Oxycodone. Oxycontin was reformulated a while back so that it would be harder to crush and abuse. I believe Oxycodone is instant release.

Honestly, your best bet is to ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain the differences in medication types. You may want to think about how to ask your question to them. The way you asked it on this forum COULD lead someone to think you have less than therapeutic reasons for asking. Doctors are on high alert (rightfully so) for seekers.

  • If you mean the every 12 hour Oxy OP, then yes it been arround for a bit.

It also seems to be WAY less effective for many.

After the dose kept rising and we were every @8 hours, we just scrapped the med all together.

As always YMMV from person to person...
