I'm currently 32 years old, and I've had back discomfort for well over 10 years now. A little less than a year ago, I started noticing a vertebrae at the top of my spine/base of my neck poking out. It's more pronounced when I let my head dip forward, but it's there regardless of my posture. After worrying about it for a while, I went and did a little inspection in my bathroom mirror. Man, I wish I hadn't. When I bent forward and let my head and shoulders relax downward, I saw 5 very visible vertebrae sticking straight outta my skin, like the humps on the back of a dragon or some comic book beast. There is extreme discomfort in that area every single morning and night. I wouldn't say it's affecting my lifestyle, but it hurts daily every day, and it's not getting any better. Years ago when I had an x-ray done for work, the DR said I had "mild s-shaped scoliosis," but that was long before my spine started sticking out of my upper back. Any feedback would be awesome. Thanks, everybody!
