RFA

I had a neck injury from a car accident Feb 12 2000 ended up having a disc removed and a fusion done and then the cronic pain started. I spent 12 yrs on feytnal had to retire from a job I loved saw a few pain docs and gave me more drugs. Finally I saw my new doc and had RFA done March 27 2012. I had some side effects such as burning and odd nerve pain for about 3 to 4 weeks but after that pain free. I have my life back I can do what I want now. Im off all my pain meds not sleeping 20 hours a day. If I had to do it over again I would do it in a heart beat. That Doctor gave me my life back cant thank him enough

  • That's great news! Hopefully you will remain pain free for a while. Your doctor probably told you, but the nerves may grow back with time requiring you to have the procedure done again. But, that's water under the bridge for now.

    Stay safe!
