Plif Surgery

Hi all, Im about to undergo L5-S1 fusion on tuesday. Ive read the documenation on the procedure but could anyone tell me their experiences? Its mainly post op info that im looking for. eg is the pain bad? how much limitation etc?

  • I had a PLIF last September and blogged about the entire experience. As "blogspot" blogs are set up, everything posts backwards, so when you go to the site, you'll see my very latest post. If you go to the sidebar and click on September, you'll be sent to the beginning. Farmer's Wife, Back Story, etc. Click through and get the whole story. It's been interesting. Unfortunately, I'm back to hurting again, seven months later. I hope my experience isn't the norm :) I hope you get permanent relief. Enjoy and feel free to comment.
