the dea is requiring generic oxycontin manufactures to make it like the regular ones, harder to crush and to shoot up or snort. if the generic ones can't do this, they will be blocked from making them. i have compounded ones so i am not sure if this effects them. they are formulated and made at my pharmacy and use a substance as the main componant along with the narcotic. is was told once that if one tries to split the pill, it won't work. i don't know what is going on so i will have to ask my pharmacists about this and see what he says.
I have 4 fusions from L5-3, the latest last May '12 where they fixed my disc that broke. They went through my side this time. I take 40 mg of oxycontin 4x a day and 4 fenatyl lollipops 300 micro gms 4x a day.
