    Hi Booboo,
I know that almost all of us, when facing surgery had fears and reservations and wondering if we were making the right choice so you aren't alone. After you check out the links that I provided above for you, then you might want to check out the neck surgery forum. Lots of posters have gone through what you are going to be experiencing soon and can help direct , guide and answer some of your questions and concerns. We have a great community of supportive members who will be here with you before, during and after.
If you have any questions for your surgeon it is really helpful to write them down , so you don't forget them. Make sure to follow his post op instructions, to the letter. You don't want to have to do this again, so it's best to follow what he tells you. Depending on the type of surgery, it can take some days, weeks or even months before the pain you are experiencing now starts to lessen enough that you are glad that you went ahead, so patience is a good thing.......it's a journey, not a race to feel better.......one step at a time.
