Just wanted to let you know that I'm running 3-4.5 miles 3-4 days a week on the hardpacked sand at low tide. My heel and calf pain is gone in my right leg. But, par for the course, I'm treating the left heel and achilles with stretching, massage. I've also started taking off my shoes and walking the last 1/4 mile home in the ice cold water. That has proven to be very helpful.
