Hi all. My name is Ashley and I am 28 years old. I have been dealing with back problems and pain since I was about 12 years old. Just last year I had a 2 level lumbar fusion for degenerative disc and then a second surgery 7 months after the first one to fuse the left s.i joint. I am still having a lot of pain and nothing seems to control it at this time. I was involved in a car wreck in November and it displaced one of the pins from the second fusion. I feel metal sliding in my back around the first fusion site. I have scoliosis and arthritis on top of the degenerated discs and one disc that is slipped and at an angle in my neck. I also suffer from migraines related to the back problems. I am getting in with a new doctor in the next 2 weeks and am looking for some new options for help. I have tried most muscle relaxers, am allergic to a lot of the medications that have been tried, been on more pain medication than I ever wanted to be on. I am a mother of 4 children and taking medication to control the pain makes it even harder to care for my kids. I do have help from my husband and partners. Just looking for advice and ideas at this point. Thanks

  • Hi Ashley, just wanted to say welcome. Looks like you have been through a lot. I hope you are able to find a treatment plan that will give you some relief so you can enjoy those 4 babies.
