I am, actually, nearing my 7th week following having a bi-lateral fusion of my sacroiliac joints (using the SI-Bone system).
I, now, have WORSE pain than what I had before the surgery.
I would like to hear from anyone who has had this type of surgery.
Is it normal to have worse pain?
My anxiety is sky high which leads me to have more tension. I believe that this anxiety-produced anxiety contributes to my pain. I am so scared!
I have the usual questions, "Will I ever get better?" "Will I have this pain for months and years to come?" "Was the surgery unsuccessful?"
If you have any pointers as to how to make a faster recovery, I'd appreciate learning what they are.
I look forward to your replies.
