Hi all my promblems started at my C spine in 2007 and I had 3 surgery since, doctors can still not tell me what the cause of my promblems, only what plan they were going to set out for me. I really sorry to hear what you are going through, and sitting down at work all day must not help. As for you musle spasms do you get them in you neck and sholder, because thats were I get them . The only thing that works for me is a heat pad or a heat bean bag not hot now just warm i put it behide my sholders and neck when I lie down for about hour . This works for me I know you cant do this at work but you could do it at home . I hope the doctor can give you the help you need ,sorry I could not help you with you MIR scan results but I do not understand my own I always get the doctor to explain them to me in a smiple way so when my son and the rest of my faimly ask I can tell them . Takecare
  • Are you seeing a general practioner or a spine surgeon? If you are seeing your regular doctor, then you are seeing the wrong one for the condition. You need to be seen by a board certified spinal surgeon, either ortho or neuro , but a spine surgeon nonetheless.
We can not give you a diagnosis, that needs to come from your seeing a spine surgeon who can tell you what the findings in the MRI's mean and what needs to happen to fix the problem.
Seeing a surgeon does not necessarily mean that you must have surgery, but he can tell you if surgery is needed, and what kind , how long recovery would be, and if you don't need surgery, he can send you to the right doctors to continue your care.

I am sure that you will find your time on Spine-Health very rewarding. This site is a powerful and integrated system that is dynamic and continues to grow.
