Moving Across Country HELP

I am moving from New York City to Las Vegas in 2 months, just found out about it today actually. So anyone have any ideas how to make this the least painless?

I just moved back to NYC from Philly and I'm actually STILL having issues with my new Pain Management doctor here. I brought all my medical records (and let me tell you I brought them 2 years of medical records from an extremely reputable pain management program in Philadelphia).. never missing an appt.. regular urine tests, etc. So Since I've only been back in NYC for a short time - literally a few months (my primary care doctor has been refilling my meds and giving my new pain managment doctor a copy of the Rx)... its like a fiasco. Im not sure what to do, how to make it easier for myself, etc.

Im on 50mcg of Phentnyl 72r hrs, 750/300 vicodin prn every six hours for breakthrough pain and, neurontin 900 mg 3x a day, not to mention my other medications.

Any ideas?

  • About the Philly to NYC move.. you see, I knew it would be an issue.. so I stayed with my Philly doctor for quite a while even after moving to NYC, I'd travel 2 hours just to see them.. besides them being excellent doctors, not having to put up with the bull crap of being basically treated like you're some kind of drug addict or something, I went back and forth. I wont be able to do that in Vegas.
