  • Been there with the depression issues as well. It's a great place to meet people and relate. I hope all goes well for you.
  • Welcome Pam (I'm Pam too), Have you had an MRI yet on your back. Do you know what the cause(s) are for your back pain? I hear ya on the depression. I myself was treated (in the past) for anxiety issues. I'm off the meds now and just deal with the anxiety on an as-needed basis with Valium. Its funny, but just having the bottle of Valium with me is enough....I really never take any. Kind of a security blanket you know?

Lots of people on here with lots of differnt back issues. Mine was a herniated disc. Had surgery on 7/12 for it and I'm doing pretty well. Starting Physical Therapy this week to help mend/recover.

    Good to meet you, Pam

  • Hope you find help here.I had ALIFL4L5S1 back surgery 3/13/13 and im in pt now trying to get fit to go back to work. You should see your family dr and have them send you for MRI to see whats going on with your back. Then if she or he sees a problem they will send you for treatments first PT,shots,or chiropractor .If all fails then they might suggest surgery. It depends on what they find.Read a lot here and ask questions.Good luck and stay strong.
