I'm new to this forum and hoping for some advice.
I'm 26 years old and suffering from a herniated disc that is bulging onto the nerve in my leg and as a result pain is travelling up and down my right leg. I have no idea how this happened to me but the pain is dreadful!!
The pain started 5 months ago and since then I've seen physios and a neurosurgeon. The neurosurgeon sent me for a spinal steroid injection and told me to focus on core strengthening exercises.
It has been almost 2 months since the injection which did take the majority of the pain away but now in the last two weeks I have started having leg pain again which is resulting in me not sleeping.
My question is, is the injection wearing off and should I go back to neurosurgeon again? Been to my physio who says that it could be this but it's my decision what I do.
The pain isn't as severe as before the injection but it isn't something I can ignore either as my daily routine is being affected again, as is my nights sleep.
I really would welcome any advice as I'm fed up!!
Thank you :-)
