3 level lumbar fusion

Any 3 level lumbar fusions out there?

I have had 3 spine surgeries. A lamenectomy in 2001 at L4-L5 and L5 -S1. This was good unitl 2011. I had a "radical" the doctors words not mine, foraminotomy form L4 to S 1 in September 2011. Relived leg pain for about 9 months but pain returned. I had a fusion of L5 to S 1 in September 2012 good agian for about 9 months, but leg pain ( and back pain) are back again.

They are now recommending a fusion of L3 to L4 and L4 to L5. (2 additional levels.) Has anyone had a 3 level spine fusinon and are you happy with it?

Getting pretty discouraged!

My doctor ordered a myelogram after the previous neuro ordered a discogram and decided to not help me after telling me that he doesn't want to do the procedure on such a young person (26). I see the myelogram ordering doc on Tuesday to find out what he's going to do. The nurse has informed me that he wants to do surgery and that Tuesday is a consult (I'm extremely anxious because of it). I hope that you can get a better answer, until then hang in there I know how bad back pain can be as I've had an L5-S1 fusion in 2011.
