Coping - Sometimes its just right there in front of you!

Many of you know that I work part time as a wine consultant at a local wine ship in town. Wine has always been more than just a compassion for me. Besides my love of wine, I've become more in tuned with the various small crafted beers and whiskeys. That gives me the opportunity to interact with others and to talk about our situation's.

But what I find most alarming is the number of people that spend their time talking about their problem and how they
received this fatal blow.

Yes, I can understand those feelings. Then take another view of this.

I spend a lot of my exercise programs at the same center that got me off the ground and walking again. I see these people daily and I can see and feel for them. Knowing that they will never get up and out of their wheel chair or that they may never speak again can be so difficult.

To me, that is so hard to deal with, yet they do!!

I have the up most respect for people like that. I only wish I had the strength and approach to deal with that which is so very difficult.
