I had a cervical laminectomy 7 years ago. It has been very successful up until now. In January, I stupidly did exercises on an abdominal machine that I believe caused some whiplash in my neck. I have had weakness, dizziness for 2 months after the incident. Finally, in April it began to clear, I would say I was at 75% in terms of strength and resolution of dizziness.
After 2 and a half months, I experienced tremendous personal stress due to a family issue. All my symptoms have come back. My neurologist assures me this too will pass. Anyone else have an experience like this? I am still miserable with dizziness, weakness all over. My mri is normal, shows no compression.
