Here we go again!

Many of you may remember my son who had been dealing with chronic lumbar pain for many years due to a sports injury. Well, things were going really well for him after his fusion in April. Was back in school and sooo excited tobegin life again. But was in a terrible car accident this past Tuesday. Broken ankle, hip, and knee. Will have surgery on all. Also has a collapsed lung that is healing nicely on its own. The good news is that there was no damage at all to his back. The fusion held like a charm. Thank goodness!!! Urgh...such a long road to travel once again for my boy. But every time I start getting bummed about his injuries I think about how lucky he is to be alive. Truly a miracle.
