hi everyone im new :)

hi to all i came across this site so thought i join up not done this before but im here now :) about me im 40 female i had siactia about 2 yrs ago it has finally came back again lasting 3 months at the moment had a lot of pain one evening which has left me with a numb big toe,leg pain back pain i wake up this morning i now have a numb finger which has been like it all day..have had 5 lots physio which hasnt worked..and just changed my doctor as he was not much help at all..hoping this next one is :)


  • I would definitely see another doctor. Perhaps a Neurosurgeon. Have you had any MRIs or XRAYs done? If so, what was said about them? Welcome to the boards, by the way.
    36 yr old with one degenerative disc (L5-S1)
    3 rounds of Epidurals in 2013
    6 PT visits in 2013
    Microdiscectomy L5 S1 on 9/5/2013.
    Re-herniated in January 2014.
    Epidural on 3/3/14.
    A/PLIF (L5-S1) 6/3/14

    One thing I have learned by seeing numerous MDs over the last couple years, they all have a different impression of your problem. Physical Therapist have been wonderful for me and seem to understand symptoms and changed therapies if one seem not to work, but now not much seems to be helping me either. Hopefully we can both find some relief soon:)
