I am hoping I am experiencing a set back, but after a year of progressively more pain, don't know anymore.
I was in a MVA at a redlight and had a herniated disc, ACDF in 2010, got better for awhile, plateau after about 9 months. I was OK with that, life wasn't back to normal, but tolerable. Had a major setback in summer 2011, started cervical ESIs and restarted PT and felt better. Then Sept 2012 started having reoccuring pain started off mild, but has progressively gotten worse. 3 ESIs, 2 medial branch blocks, dry needling (similiar to trigger pt injections) lots of graston, and myofasia release therapy, and the pain has gotten to the point I can't cope with anything very well. So sad most of the time, but try to remain positive. Had MRI and CT mylogram and disc are buldging, vertebrae is slipping, osteophytes are narrowing foramen (ie necksoup). I have lost a lot of strength in my left arm, pain and numbness in both arms. They say my fusion did not fuse completely. I think someone should be able to inject some superglue in there (JK)
