This is how my pain looks like. And yours?

I have had back pain for many years now. I can still function, but it is annoying. Apparently there is not much to do but to strengthen the muscles. However, I figured out that cracking the back helps to relieve the pain a bit, but I think this is not so healthy and it also just holds on for a short time. I painted my pain on and it looks like in the picture. Does anyone have similar kind of pain? What helps you?

  • Years ago in a sales training class, they taught us that each person has a different communication system, They spoke of visual (look), sounds, feels, and than the analytic version. For me, I feel pain, try to look good (positive attitude, does not work all the time!), and sound great.

As far as "cracking the back", there could be arguments for that actually helping. However, I would let a professional help out. I go to pain management, have an orthopedic surgeon, a chiropractor, and a sports club membership as part of my care plan. They all know about each other. The chiropractor helps a lot in my pain management approach. The chiropractor does adjust my back and sometimes there is a cracking sound, particularly my neck, as gas is released from being trapped in the joints. I almost always feel better after an adjustment. It does not completely solve the problem.
  • my pain looks like brittanry spears with her shaved head. on good days it looks like jessica biel.
