I am scheduled for acdf C3/4 and corpectomy c5/6/7. Lately I have been experiencing some strange senses of smell. Has anyone experienced this? Not bad smells just weird smells. Kinda medicinal.

  • Hi, I've had a problem with that. I'm really sensitive to food smells and flavors now, it started out gradually and I thought it was the addition of Flexeril to the Gabapentin and Tramodol. It started Pre surgery and I'm off a majority of the medications now but it hasn't improved yet. Hopefully soon, I can't eat anything that isn't bland, it's a drag!

When I was in really bad pain I had heightened senses to just about everything, including smells, tastes and noise.
