It's been almost 5 months since my surgery, fusion of L4/L5. I have yet to feel better than before surgery, in fact this past few weeks have been miserable. I put a call into my Dr. over a week ago, they told me to take it easy. So I did. Then my neck hurt for about 10 days. For the past few days my thigh has been burning so bad that it hurts to drive. My back has a tremendous amount of pressure near the surgical spot. Last night I cried when my 5 year old said that he wants his "old" mommy back. I'm an emotional wreck, then today at work I lost my bladder. I called the Dr. they sent me in for a MRI. Now, i'm waiting for the results. This was supposed to be minimum invasive surgery, back to myself in 6 weeks. My entire right leg is burning, and my calf is so tight. I'm praying the foot drop has not returned. Any advise would be greatly appreciated as i'm losing it.
