So im 5 weeks (today) post MicroD and im def walking ALOT more than i was even just a week ago and able to sit a little longer and my pain is for sure less than it has been - altho still not totally gone.
I can sit for about 15-20 min now and walk around for about 45-60 min without having to lay down and ice.
Im still getting alot of sharp butt cramps throughout the day and slight foot tingling on and off - but like i said, its very much improved from the intense, unbearable pain i dealt with presurgery - i wanted to chop my own leg off many times! i couldnt walk for more than 2 min without a horrendous pain in my entire leg.
ANYWAYS... my biggest issue is in our living room we have a big cushy (too cushy) unsupportive couch and 2 recliners/gliders. in our room we have an amazing firm tempurpedic.... my question is does anyone else have troubles finding spots to sit in?
like i cant sit on our couch cuz my dr said its bad bad bad and to avoid big cushy unsupportive furniture. so i havent sat on it in weeks.
our recliners i can sit in for about 15-20 min then i start getting pain ... so i find myself stuck in our room alot which SUCKS. if im in the living room with everyone im standing or pacing and id love to just relax with everyone else. im thinking about gettin new firm couch cushions so i can lay down there when i have to take it easy and ice....anyways jsut wondering if anyone else has this issue.
we are going to thanksgiving at our relatives in a couple weeks and im sooo worried. theres about 50 people there and idk where im going to sit or how im going to make it standing longer than an hour.... ugh.
