MRI compatible SCS by Medtronic?

Hi there. I am scheduled for SCS trial on 12/2 - 12/4 and my doc works exclusively with Medtronic products. They are talking about the new and great MRI compatible SCS. They have asked me if I am interested in the new model and I am not to sure of putting the latest/ greatest in my body and be a guinea pig. I also don't like to know that MRI's are off the table for the forseeable future. Anyone have any experience with the latest/greatest? Thanks!

  • He said it heated up after 20 mins...they got it done. I have that unit by Medtronic. I hope I dont have to use it but Im really glad I can get an MRI if I need to. They give you ID cards and phone numbers to coordinate. You dont just go get a MRI. Try and find the past post.
