bursted l-1 vertebrae

edited 11/18/2013 - 7:47 PM in New Member Introductions
I suffered an l-1 bursted vertebrae. Had surgery and 2 7 inch rods were placed in my back (t-10 thru l-3) along with eight (8) screws holding everything in place. My range of motion is severely restricted ans I am in quite alot of pain.I am using 50 mcg fetanyl patches to relieve the pain. I applied for SSDI and was denied.I am in the process of appealing. Does anyone out there know what my chances of getting approved for SSDI may be ?

To make it easier for Peterhunt I have closed this introduction thread and given the link to his other post this keeps all the responses on the same subject together together....Liz (moderator)
