New Member with Spinal Arthritis & Ruptured Disc

Hi everyone. Thought I'd post an intro thread before diving into the main forums.

I'm Renee, turning 43 in a couple of weeks, dealing with spine issues for the past five years. I have a ruptured disc at L5-S1, arthritis at C5, a deformity at C1, a bulging disc at T12, and a lot of fancypants terms in my radiology reports like "vacuum phenomenon," "subchondral sclerosis," "reversal of normal lordosis," and "mild retrolisthesis." You know what I mean, all that stuff your doctor goes over very briefly and then you come home and google it. *teehee*

My interests include playing with my cats, spending quiet time with my husband, reading, and journaling. I'm very introverted.

Looking forward to meeting all of you. I used to post here back in 2009, but I can't begin to remember my user name or password, much less the e-mail address I used to register. I'm pretty sure it's one I no longer have. So, starting fresh!
(see profile for medical details)

I *heart* my TENS unit.

  • I enjoy reading but can't do it as much as I like due to back pain and neck pain. And I love animals have 2 dogs, 6 fish tanks and a snake.
I have found a lot of great info here and get lost in posts for hours.
    Take care, Summi
