My name is David, I have had problems with my lower back for about 10 years,
I have had a discectomy on my 4th vertebrate(lumbar region) in 2001 for a prolapsed disk,
about 3 months ago I was crouching and I sneezed, there was a pop in my lower back followed by intense pain. I thought it would be constantly like that but after a short while I could function better. It feels like something has snapped. I have that pain with me at all times, I have the pain whenever I twist, its like a sharp pain and I have noticed nerve sensations on the right side of my right leg and the outside of my foot. I get muscle strain above the injury as if the muscle is working more to protect. i have been to the doctor who is unwilling to send me for an MRI scan, I have had an x-ray which was clear.
I am going to an osteopath on Friday for further diagnosis / treatment.
It feels like something has gone. I can't put much weight on my right for too long.
Could anyone help me on this matter please?
Thank you for your time,
