Hey Gang ....

Question for senior neckies - How many neck patients have had pain pump implants??

What was your outcome??

(Yes I have searched the site for past posts)

Meds are not cutting it (9+ years of most everything) and I'm becomming miserable.

I'm seeing my pain Dr tomorrow and things need to change.

On Fentynl and Percocet currently

Severe Stenosis above hardware - Lumbar is toast also

Thanx in advance

After the trial I had no pain, zero. Sat and cried like a baby. The surgeon came into post op to check on me and thought i was in alot of pain and was ready to give me another injection until i told him im crying because for the first time in years i have zero pain, unfortunately i developed a spine infection and now can no longer have the pump, No the infection was not from the trial. Do the trial it is the only way to know if it will work for you

Thanks Susan for your experience .... I am sorry it didn't work out for you. How long ago was that and what meds did you wind up on??

Have you done a bit of switching with pain meds - mix?

After a 6 or 7 weeks of iv antibiotics, I then was put on oral antibiotics until the therapy was a year long. I am, currently taking only 2 meds ( my choice to see how I would do) and that is norco750 4 x a day along with valium 3 x a day. Now that winter has hit this is no longer working for me. I was on Opana ER for years and it quit working for me. I dont know if my body became too adjusted to the meds or what but my PM doc and I decided that if by dec. appt i am stilll in bad pain i am going to have to go back to a ER medicine. Which at this point Im willing to try anything to reduce the pain. They wanted toput me on a morphine based medicine but my insurance only covers any type of morphine at a facility setting. so I have not a clue what our next med will be
  • you must tell that the doctors and follow his advise don't be abuse and take it rest
