Hi my spine buddies

17 weeks post of 3 laminectomies, diskectomy and dura tear and repair
And around one week ago
Changing positions is painful!

If I am sitting and try to stand up I get a "catching" like you cant move and then a muscle spasm
Then i am "hunched over" and gradually try straightening out to a complete standing position.
Cringing all of the way up from that chair.
Does anyone else have this?

Mine is when laying down. Muscles seem to sieze up or something. Hurts to turn over, to move covers then sitting up I kind of roll to the side an push myself up with arm. All that hurts.

Little bit wobbly at first but after moving around it eventually loosens up.

I tried telling doc that my muscles were going in to spasm an he said its cuz I have spondylolithies
  • Right. But the way he was acting its just something I will have to put up with. .....if we both understood each other! Lol!

Would ur scar tissue be pulling or something? ..
