I had to have neck surgery about 11 years ago due to a herniated disc pressing on a nerve causing extreme pain down my right arm and hand and etc. years later my neck started hurting pretty bad and I had an MRI done and was told I had degenerative arthritis in the area of surgery and bone spurs and that no surgery could help this problem and if they did surgery they would have to do the areas below and above nothing can be done to where the prior surgery was done, I have a metal plate and screws there. So to make a long story short, I've tried living with the pain and nothing's been done, but here recently when I turn my neck certain ways I get this stabbing, burning type pain for just a few seconds and then it goes away, but I get this pain of and on throughout the day and night whenever I move my neck certain ways and there isn't a certain way that I can just stop moving it because it's always different ways I might turn it. It's hard to explain it, but was just wondering if others that have had this surgery experienced anything similar and is there anything that can help or treatment for the pain? Thanks in advance for any help and or advice.
