Pars sclerosis/ severe facet athropathy/ herniated disc

Hello everyone,
Just wondering if any of you out there would be able to help me with some info.
I'm 31 and I started noticing back pain on 08/23/13. This is a work related injury. My dr sent me in for a MRI. Which came back showing a 4 mm herniated disc at L4-L5 and severe Facet Athropathy at L5-S1 and L4-L5.
He sent me to see a neurosurgeon.
The Neurosurgeon wanted me to have 2 ephederial injections(both help for 2/3 days) .Also he said that I would be a good candidate for a microdisectomy.
A month and two injection later my Neurosurgeon told me that he forgot to tell me I have some disc alignment issues and he wants me to get a ct scan to rule out a pars defect. If I do have a pars defect I might need a fusion.
So yesterday I had the ct scan/ mylograhm. Which was extremely painful btw. The results from the ct scan show two new things one being a "Pars sclerosis bilaterally at L5" the others being "a baseline 3mm retrolisthesis of the L4 vertebral body".
I was wondering if anyone could help explain to me what the ct shows. Also would this make me a candidate for a fusion. I don't see my dr for another month and I'm pretty stressed.
Thank you everyone.
