  • Hi I had C3 to C7 done between 2007 and 2011, and I had the same problem. I had a OT come out to my house because I having such bad pains in my neck when resting or trying to sleep. So we tried rolling a small towel and putting this under the neck when lieing down this did not work for me pillow lifter to help me up and down the pillows kept falling off. The other thing she brought with her was this bean bag that you warm in the microwave , I found that a great help and then I put it round my neck when resting . Then I got some really soft pillows not hard , I find this helps me. I still get pain and clicking noise, but I find the warm bean bag really helps me relaxe. I hope you find what works for you.
  • I can only suggest giving up on beds and learning to sleep on a high quality, zero-gravity recliner. It makes it easier to keep your head and neck from slipping into a poor and painful alignment while asleep. There are fully adjustable beds that can give the same, or better results, but they are REALLY expensive.
Severe DDD, Severe neural foraminal stenosis at 2 levels, moderate canal stenosis at 2 levels, significantly impaired left shoulder & arm function. Chronic moderate compression fracture at C6.
