I just don't know how to cope with this awful pain anymore. In 2011, when I was 22, I had an L4/L5 herniation. My disc (l5 was the main problem) was pressing my spine and pinching my sciatic nerve. So the neurosurgeon did a laminectomy/ discectomy (not micro). It didn't work at all. Not even a full year later I'm having a second surgery for stenosis and another L5 laminectomy/discectomy. That one failed as well. Its been about a year and a half and my pain has just increased. I've done spine epidural steroid injections and caudal nerve root block injections that did no good. At the present moment I'm having a burning pins and needles sensation from my left foot up my entire left leg. It never ceases. I see a pain management dr who is also my anesthesiologist that performs my injections. I haven't been able to tell him about my new found symptoms because they just started again 3 days ago. During the time span of my first surgery and now I've lost 40 pounds. Still no relief. I'm a mess who can barely walk 10 feet without wincing. Presently I'm taking 10mg percocet 4 times a day and have been for 3 years. I'm depressed and miserable. I have no idea what to do.
