Hi! I've been lurking the forums and the website for information for a few weeks, and decided that I'd like to join!
I'm a 27-year-old social worker, and I've been coping with chronic pain from degenerative disc disease for around six years. Initially, I had a herniated disc following an awkward fall that would cause nerve pain a few times a year. Now, it's gotten to to the point to where I'm having constant neck and shoulder pain with frequent (but not constant) arm pain and weakness. I'm diagnosed with C5-C6 and C6-C7 disc degeneration, moderate-to-severe cervical spinal stenosis, osteoarthritis, and chronic myofascial pain syndrome.
I'm really looking forward to talking with all of you!
So, I want to absorb all of the information I can,
