Hello, I need suggestions/advice. My current dr has me on a pain management plan that I dont agree with, I just had a laminectomy/discectomy & coflex insertation at my L2-3 levels. But my Dr has had me on 10/325 mg oxycodone and 10/325 hydrocodone for 13 months straight for chronic pain, am I wrong for thinking I should not be on IR drugs for so long for chronic pain? I really want to suggest to him switching to an ER drug with an IR for breakthrough. Any suggestions on how to approach this without insulting the dr. or sounding like an addict (this is a major insecurity of mine because of my young age) but any help would be great, thank you!
