Lower back/Knee/Lower thigh pain

My lower back has always felt somewhat weak, however, 2 weeks ago i was in bed unable to move because of lower back/knee/thigh pain. I have worked through the back pain with therapy and meds.. Unfortunately my thigh and knee are still a huge problem.. I have experienced numbing/dull/aching/burning pains throughout this process in my knee/thigh.. I assumed once my back was better it would go away... I am still having the same syptoms in thigh/knee as i did before.. I'm assuming I have some kind of nerve damage? I never actually got an official diagnosis of the problem.. Any ideas? my insurance policy doesn't kick in for 23 days.. Can i afford to wait?
