Hello, I have been suffering from back pain for about 2 years now. I am a 22 year old physically active male. I was actively working out around two years ago, and I slowly realized my back was bothering me. By the time I stopped working out, the pain was really bad. Over two years I've seen chiropractors, acupuncture, message therapy, physical therapy multiple times, I've received medicinal shots, taken naproxen and tramadol. None of these have shown any long term relief of any kind. They barely even show short term relief. I have done various exercises and have seen many different specialists. I have been diagnosed by most as having a damaged scapula muscle and damaged lower back muscles. The upper back pain is between my left shoulder blade and the spine. However, my left lat muscles also hurts, as well as the muscles on my ribs by my arm pit on that side. It is a very sharp pain in between my spine and blade. It hurts when I breath, a lot of the PT workouts I have been put on hurt doing the exercises. Sitting down bothers my whole back the most, while standing and walking over periods of time do too.I have no idea what to do next. I think it is a damaged scapula as well but I have gotten an MRI and XRAY of my back both showing no problems. If anyone has any idea what to do next or how to further look into the symptoms I have it would be greatly appreciated. I have heard that an ultrasound is the best test to get for my shoulder blade. I'm not sure though if I should get a nerve testing like an ECG done as well. Again thank you for any replies and any help I would love to find any kind of answer to this. Thank you.
