New MRI reports

Cervical spine MRI:
Multilevel degenerative changes of the Cervical spine as described above most pronounced at C6-C7 where there is a left paracentral posterior disc protrusion indenting the ventral thecal sac and ventral left aspect of the the spinal cord causing severe left neuroforaminal stenosis and severe left-sided spinal canal stenosis. If clinically relevant, this would present as a left C7 radiculopathy.

I have been having left arm numbness and pain in left shoulder and arm along with chest pain. Also pain in my neck and a feeling of a constant stiff neck. From time to time I also have temperature control issues not sure if that is related to this injury or something else.

Thanks for reviewing and any info in advance!

ask or receive any diagnosis based on MRI or any other diagnostic reports.

    From the rules:
You agree not to ask for any analysis or interpretation of diagnostic tests (ie MRI, CTScans, EMG, etc.),
You agree not to respond to any request for analysis of diagnostic tests (ie MRI, CTScans, EMG, etc.)

No one on this site has medical training to provide any formal medical analysis of diagnostic reports.

What we always can say is looking for the keywords: Mild, Moderate or Severe. Severe can mean that to
correct the condition surgery is required. But this is not always the case. You need to discuss this with your doctor to get formal advice.

  • didn't think I was asking for advice just trying to understand all the big words. Also wondering if anyone else has gone through what I am .sorry if it came across in another way! I am fine for it to be deleted if need be.
  • section of the links.......if you want to look up some of the words yourself, you can do that, but we can't offer medical advice or interpretations of medical reports.
